Our Value for March 2018 is SERVICE and SACRIFICE

The Catholic School

St Patrick’s is a Catholic school and as such we celebrate our identity as Christian people. We continually promote those values which provide a Catholic, Christian setting enabling our children to grow in faith, love and understanding and to develop key qualities such as honesty, trust and respect for each other.

The RE Curriculum

Values Education:

First Holy Communion

We will soon be posting information about how you can enrol your child to our Eucharistic Programme to help prepare your child for the Sacrament of the Eucharist (First Holy Communion) this summer.  This is open to Catholic children in Year 3 and above.

Our New Chapel

You may have noticed some building work on our playground this week in school.  This was the building of our new chapel.  We are very excited about this addition to our school grounds.  It is not yet finished as the interior needs decorating.  We are intending to purchase some large cushions for the children's use whilst in the chapel.  Should parents / grandparents / friends of our school wish to donate an oversized cushion for the chapel, it would be gratefully received.
