Pupil Parliament met with other schools to raise awareness of the charity Refugee Action.
We made banners and streamers and walked from Morecambe Town Hall to The Midland Hotel.
On the way we gave out leaflets and collected money for the charity.
Y5 and Y6 Councillors met with children from local schools to discuss ' How can we improve our local area?'
We presented our ideas to the other schools by imagining we were a teenager, a boy ,a parent and an elderly lady! Our ideas included 20mph zones in all residential areas, discos and clubs for teenagers and an aquarium in Heysham.
We listened to other schools ideas and then had a vote. The most popular was 'Activities and clubs for Youths'.
We made up slogans , discussed ways to campaign and designed logos.
